New Graduate/ Early Career Psychologist – position available in a multidisciplinary private practice

Empower Rehab and Psychology provide psychology treatment to people presenting with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. We also provide pain management in a group and individual setting. Our team consists of psychologists, physiotherapists, pain specialists and a great admin team.

We focus on developing a clear formulation and use a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, and schema therapy, to empower people to achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in working with a broad range of presentations. There may be scope to specialize and develop service offerings in your area of interest as we have strong referrer relationships. Significant pain management training and supervision can be offered to interested applicants.

This role is suitable for new graduate or early career psychology given the supports and training opportunities available.

Physiotherapist – Upcoming maternity leave role in September 2024

Empower Rehab and Psychology are seeking an aspiring Physiotherapist to join our private practice interdisciplinary team. We are a leader in providing evidence based treatment to address complex and persistent pain conditions. Our team includes pain physiotherapists, psychologists and a pain medicine specialist and we deliver individualised treatment  and group based programs to our clients.

We are seeking a physiotherapist with strong musculoskeletal knowledge and skills as well as an up to date understanding of pain neuroscience. Significant training can be provided by an APA titled Pain physiotherapist and Pain Psychologist as well as a study allowance.   Training can be provided in the  delivery of pain education, pacing strategies and a graded exposure approach utilising Cognitive Functional Therapy to achieve the client’s SMART goals as well techniques to improve client adherence to recommendations. You will work very closely with the treating psychologist and pain medicine specialist to provide a collaborative approach.

We are seeking  a 2 full day a week commitment for a maternity leave role on a guaranteed wage. Appointments are either 60 or 30 minutes in duration with generous time allocated for administration and attending team meetings.  APA titled pain physio are welcome to apply.
